Dusty Anderson is the Founder of Aviator Sports Performance & Rehabilitation, a division of Aviator Healthcare Logistics; of which he concurrently holds the position as the Chief Clinical Officer(CCO) and Co-Owner. He brings 12+ years of extensive clinical knowledge & experience in treating patients, clients and athletes from all sports, all ages and skill levels; but is most well known for his work with baseball/overhead athletes. His vision is to make a positive impact and footprint in the community by using his specialized clinical knowledge, in-depth understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation, movement science, injury prevention, and sports performance. Through his vision, the number one goal is to help athletes and clients of all ages and skill levels optimize his or her performance or function while decreasing the risk of injuries, proactively and through a multidisciplinary medical team approach. His work has garnered him and his company several accolades, most recently, receiving two International awards as a “Top 100 Healthcare Leader” and “Top 50 Healthcare Company” from IFAH (International Federation on
Advancements in Healthcare) in Las Vegas, June 2019.
Dusty graduated from Tarleton State University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology & Fitness Management- Magna Cum Laude honors. He then graduated from Tarrant County College in 2007 with an Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant-Highest Honors. Dusty holds additional certifications, further reinforcing his special skill set, including National Strength & Conditioning Association's(NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Biomechanics Specialist (BMS), the highest regarded certifications in the Sports Performance, Health & Fitness industry. Dusty worked in an Outpatient Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Clinic for the first 7 years of his career. While there, Dusty developed an elite skill set and established his own unique treatment approaches which included advanced manual therapy & rehab techniques integrated with a biomechanical, strength and conditioning methodology; which has resulted in many positive outcomes for a wide range of patients and athletes.
Dusty began his journey into the field of physical therapy at the very young age of 16, not by choice, but by destiny. As a 3 sport athlete, he spent many years as a patient himself, battling back from multiple sport injuries and orthopedic surgeries with physical therapy; which ultimately has given him a unique purpose, perspective and approach as a treating clinician. Despite his valiant attempts, his athletic career ultimately ended due to multiple injuries and lack of resources to keep him playing. He then took his own personal trials and tribulations and used it to fuel his passion in the field of Physical Therapy, Sport Performance, Health & Fitness.
